This is an optional network accessory that can help the performance of your Sonos system. Boost creates a separate wireless network for Sonos and eliminates interference from other devices so you can listen free from interruptions and dropouts. Connects to your WiFi router or modem. Designed for large houses to expand WiFi coverage, or for areas like crowded apartment buildings with lots of signal interference. Not necessary for most Sonos users.
